How Do You Cook Zucchini Pasta
Do not let the noodles cook any longer or else they will become mushy.
How do you cook zucchini pasta. Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Cover the bowl with a damp paper towel. Heat the oil in a large pan on medium heat.
Let it drain for at least 20 minutes then press the zucchini to remove the liquid or lay it on a dish towel to dry. The best way to cook a batch of zoodles is to heat one or two tablespoons of oil such as olive oil or coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the noodles with a generous pinch of salt and a little pepper. Add the zucchini noodles and toss them for one minute just to warm through then turn off the heat.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. 5 to 7 minutes. Just put the zucchini in the spiralizer and turn the handle.
Add water and cook until zucchini is softened 5 to 7 minutes. Add about 2 teaspoons of water. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat then cook and stir zucchini in the hot oil for 1 minute.
Once the zucchini pasta is cut you can salt and drain the zucchini in a colander to remove some of the moisture. Toss the noodles with pasta tongs and cook until al dente they should be wilted but still have a crunch. Grill for 4 5 minutes longer.
Repeat with second zucchini. Slice the zucchini into thinner strips resembling spaghetti. Add zoodles and cook stirring occasionally.
