How To Cook Mashed Potatoes In The Instant Pot

Place the peeled potatoes in the instant pot and pour in the chicken stock. Turn the instant pot to manual and high pressure. Add potatoes water and a generous pinch of salt to an instant pot.
Seal the lid select steam and set to seven minutes. Pressure cook the potatoes for 15 minutes and do a quick release. Add butter and milk to the potatoes and continue mashing.
Adjust pressure to high and set time for 10 minutes. Place diced mashed potatoes in the bottom of the instant pot. Then cover the potatoes with water until you are ready to cook them.
Add the potatoes to a 6 or 8 quart instant pot. Add 1 1 2 cups water and 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Place the lid on the instant pot.
Pour the potatoes and water into the instant pot. Using the pressure cooking mode set to 10 minutes. Secure the lid and set the pressure valve to sealing.
