How To Cook Okra Boil
Lightly salt as much water as you need to submerge all your okra.

Make sure you get all the water out. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. For shorter younger pods cook 3 to 4 minutes covered at a rolling boil.
Cook for 20 to 30 minutes. The taste is great. Cover the pan and set a timer.
