How to cook omelette egg. Heat butter in 7 to 10 inch nonstick omelet pan or skillet over medium high heat until hot. Method crack the eggs into a bowl add the milk season with salt and pepper and beat the mixture with a fork or whisk. As soon as the eggs start to set pull the edges of the omelette into the centre of the pan and shake the pan so any liquid egg spills into the gaps.

When the eggs are almost cooked through on the bottom but still runny on top about 1 minute remove from heat and let rest 1 minute. Heat the oil and butter in a non stick frying pan over a medium low heat until the butter has melted and is foaming.
