How To Cook Sockeye Salmon Burgers

How to cook sockeye salmon burgers. Partially thaw the salmon patties and carefully cut out of the packaging. Flip and cook the other side. Combine both the salmons together in a medium bowl.
Once the pan is hot add a drizzle of oil to coat the bottom then gently lift the patties from the parchment paper and place in the pan. Remove the salmon patties from the heat and place on the toasted buns. Place on a medium hot grill and cook 4 to 5 minutes per side.
Once one side is crisp and browned flip and cook the other side until equally browned. Mince all the salmon then place half in a large sealable plastic bag and use a flat surfaced meat pounder or a rolling pin to mash it. When the pan is hot place the salmon patties into it and sear on one side.
Once all patties have been formed and coated place baking sheet into fridge for about 10 minutes to help the coating stick. Place all the salmon in a large bowl and combine with the egg whites mustard bread crumbs salt and dill. Once the oil is hot and glistening cook two salmon patties at a time.
Heat a large non stick skillet over medium high heat. Place avocado slices on top of the burgers and a leaf of butter lettuce beneath them. Cook until golden brown 3 to 5 minutes.
Combine together the cilantro green onion garlic lime juice soy sauce sesame oil and smoked paprika. Add this mixture into the salmon stirring to gently combine. Allow to cook for about 5 minutes then carefully flip and cook an additional 5 minutes.
