How To Cook Steak Hibachi Style

Flavor the mixture with lime juice and powdered ginger or minced fresh ginger to taste. Heat a spoonful of cooking oil in both of your two skillets or on either side of your large griddle.
Heat veggie oil in a skillet at medium high heat add in the steak and sprinkle on the salt and pepper. Cook your beef or chicken in one skillet adding a splash of soy as the meat browns. Place the steak in a tight fitting dish with high sides or a zip locked bag.
Preheat your charcoal grill to high heat roughly 450f. For medium cook for 3 minutes or until a piece of steak pressed on with spoon has some resistance. Working in batches add the meat to the hot skillet and brown on all sides but still a little red on the inside about three minutes.
Pour the marinade over the steak turning to coat. Generously season the meat with salt and pepper. The proportions don t have to be exact but aim for 1 part sesame oil to 2 parts soy sauce.
Instructions heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Whisk together soy sauce and sesame oil until they are well mixed. Marinade for 30 min while you preheat your charcoal grill.
Directions bring 2 1 2 cups water to a rolling boil. Once boiling add the 2 cups rice and remove form heat cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove the steaks from the grill and cut into bite sized cubes.
