Lobster Tails On Bbq Recipe
Cook for 10 to 12 minutes turning once and basting frequently with marinade.
Lobster tails on bbq recipe. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Transfer to the serving platter. Lobster is grilled over direct medium heat.
Serve with lemon wedges and scatter with extra parsley if you like. Place lobster tails meat side up on grill rack. Continue to cook until shells are bright red and meat is opaque 5 to 7 minutes more.
In a small bowl whisk together melted butter lemon juice zest chives parsley garlic and salt. In a small bowl combine the remaining ingredients. Split lobster tails lengthwise with a large knife and brush flesh side of tail with marinade.
Rub the flesh with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Lightly oil the bbq hotplate. Place tails flesh side down on preheated barbecue.
Turn over and brush with butter mixture. Barbecue the lobster tails cut side down for 3 mins or until char marks appear on the meat. Place lobster tails shell sides down on the preheated grill for 5 minutes.
Using kitchen shears cut top of lobster shell. Grill flesh side down for approximately 5 7 minutes then flip. Heat the grill to high then grill the lobster tails for 10 mins until cooked through.
